Resilience and tensile strength

Resilience and tensile ratings do give the prospective purchaser a good idea of the durability, and the quality of the memory foam used in the product. The resilience, is effectively measured by the length of time the memory foam will continue to behave as memory foam is typically perceive to behave, in that it will continue to return to its original shape after being depressed. The tensile strength rating is the ability of the memory foam to be stretched or compressed over a significant period of time.

Warranty

Although not exactly a method of determining the quality of the product, having a 10 to 30 year warranty does give you a good indication of how confident the manufacturer is that the quality of the memory foam used is high.
