In creating a bathroom that is efficient and at the same time beautiful to look at, one thing that you have to keep in mind is that the things that you are going to incorporate in it should have at least a function. It would be like combining functionality and design at the same time. For plenty of people, this is quite a problem especially if they want to have a luxurious bathroom and wants to include a lot of things in it. There is nothing bad about it. It’s just that there is the tendency of going overboard and instead of creating a functional room, you are trying to create a room full of little things that don’t have any use at all.
When thinking of the design, look for an object that at least has any use, say a wicker basket where you can place small stuffs. Wicker baskets work best especially for country themed bathrooms and at the same time it increases beauty.
A magazine rack could also be a great addition to your bathroom, especially those that at the same time could be used as an ornament.
Adding bathroom carpets is a great idea especially when you have a large-space bathroom. You can place bathroom carpets near the shower area, tub and sink. In this way, in case that there is water spillage it could help you to hold a grip on the floor and prevent you from slipping.
Small frames might be good to see however they are not ideal for bathrooms. If you want to place an object that would act as the ornament and accent the wall, choose a long horizontal painting. It creates an illusion of a bigger room.
There are still plenty of objects that could be functional and chic at the same. Keep in mind that what you would incorporate should have at least a use for your bathroom.
