It is not hard to make mistakes with the fittings of a closet organizer system when going forward with the install process. This can and will cause problems in the process of installation later if you do not get it right the first time. You want a system with cleats. Cleats provide the bottom part of closet organizers to be fitted to the wall. This keeps it level and secures the organizer. Do not use a system without some sort of cleats, If you do you will have problems guaranteed. It will be possible for the system to move from one side to the other. If this happens the drawers will not fit right and the closet system can even break thus leaving all your wardrobe in the floor and money out the window.
You want your choice of fittings. You will need either flat edge or soft edge. And depending on the height of your base molding you need a system that will customize itself to your molding at the floor level. You want the best organizer that is also the easiest to install. Mark the location of your wall studs. And then attach into your wall studs your support rail. Then place the vertical panels. Now fasten the fixed shelves into place with a screwdriver. Then when all sections are in place fasten the cleats to the wall.
Then put up your hanging closet rods which you use for your clothes followed by the placement of your adjustable shelves. If you have an organizer with drawers slide those in. You will save money installing your closet organizing system yourself and you will now have a place for your stuff. Now the trick is to use the organizer the way it is supposed to be used. Make sure you put shoes where shoes go and do not over stuff the drawers or you will defeat the whole purpose.
